Climate Kids Activities at American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE WALK

On Sunday November 12th Climate Kids activities were included at the LUNG FORCE WALK hosted by the American Lung Association. Climate Science Alliance-Climate Kids activities were provided to attendees, including the “10 Things You Can Do to Help” coloring book that was a huge hit at the “Little Lungs” tent for children. More than 800 San Diegans took strides against lung cancer and raised awareness of lung health. San Diego Coastal Adaptation Strategies Mentioned in Sacramento Bee Report on California’s Plans for

California is already feeling multiple effects of climate change including record-high temperatures, devastating flooding, ocean acidification and sea level rise. On November 2nd, 2017 the Sacramento Bee published a report on how the state and counties are planning for these various changes, including San Diego. Climate Science Alliance partner Laura Engeman, Director of the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative, was featured in the report section on how San Diego is adapting for current changes and planning for future ones. CSA Featured in Balboa Park Sustainability Partners Newsletter
