Climate Kids Earth Day Assembly at Fulbright Montessori Academy in Orange County

For the second year in a row, the Climate Science Alliance brought a Climate Kids Earth Day Assembly to Fulbright Montessori Academy in Lake Forest, CA. The program introduced 100 students ages 3-6 to the impacts of both visible and invisible pollution on the planet and ways they can minimize these impacts. They learned about the long life of marine debris and conducted an experiment to learn how marine life is affected by the debris. They also also learned about how carbon dioxide changes our oceans and learned about the impacts of ocean acidification on shell building animals. Our Earth Day Assembly encouraged students to think about ways they can help protect the Earth on Earth Day and every other day of the year!
