2022 Intertribal Agriculture Council Pacific Region Summit

The Climate Science Alliance is always excited to collaborate and engage with the Intertribal Agriculture Council. The Climate Science Alliance presented “Cultivating Transformational Climate Adaptation” to the 2022 Intertribal Agriculture Council Pacific Region Summit - Indigenous Food Systems & Conservation March 30-31.


The Intertribal Agriculture Council was founded in 1987 to pursue and promote the conservation, development and use of our agricultural resources for the betterment of our people. The Intertribal Agriculture Council conducts a wide range of programs designed to further the goal of improving Indian Agriculture. The IAC promotes the Indian use of Indian resources and contracts with federal agencies to maximize resources for tribal members.


The IAC hosted the Pacific Region Summit with the theme being, “Indigenous Food Systems & Conservation”. The Climate Science Alliance presented to a group of 30+ participants. The Climate Science Alliance were presenters in addition to regional partners and friends such as the Chia Cafe Collective, U.S Forest Service Region 5, and Bureau of Land Management.
