New Collaboration with Earth's Birthday Project

The Climate Science Alliance recently formed a new partnership with Earth's Birthday Project, a non-profit organization that offers nature, science and conservation education programs for young children. Their mission is to cultivate hope for the future by inspiring wonder, learning and care of the natural world in children, teachers and parents through hands-on activities. Hands-on educational curriculum and materials teach children about animals, natural habitat, life cycles and water conservation.

The Alliance is working with Earth's Birthday Project to help integrate climate change messaging into curriculum and bring program materials into classrooms in San Diego county. On November 28th, 2017, our Climate Kids program piloted out materials from Earth's Birthday Project about pollinators and decomposers and taught about the effects climate change will have on these insects and their habitats.
