"Sea Level Rise Effect on SoCal Wetlands" Webinar Recording

The California Landscape Conservation Cooperative (CALCC) hosted an open webinar, “Sea-level rise effects on coastal wetlands in Southern California” on October 31st, 2017. Climate Science Alliance partner Dr. Eric Stein from the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project is one of three authors of the report and presented the model’s findings on approximately 100 wetlands along the Southern California coast. The model quantifies wetland habitat conversion driven by sea-level rise and can be developed for all wetlands in a region regardless of differing levels of data availability, making it ideal for quantifying regional effects.
