Mary Jane Andreas
Indigenous Stewardship Coordinator
Mary Jane Andreas (she/her) is an enrolled member of the Bishop Paiute Tribe. MJ holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Redlands, with a thesis focused on sustainability and sustainable business models in a global perspective. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Race and Ethnic Studies with an emphasis in Native American Studies, also from the University of Redlands, with a Capstone focused on advocating for Native youth through Powwow and Powwow Pageantry.
As the Indigenous Stewardship Coordinator, MJ will work to cultivate and support coastal climate resilience and build community with Native and Indigenous communities and partners throughout San Diego County and beyond.
Outside of her career, MJ enjoys traveling the world, spending time with friends and family, gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen.
