Santa Monica Pier ‘Owl’ Virtual Reality Installation November-October

Climate Science Alliance partners at USC Sea Grant have developed a innovative virtual reality installation called "Owl" which shows the public what the shores of Santa Monica will look like as sea level rise, coastal flooding and beach erosion inundates the coast.

USC Sea Grant helped develop a new virtual reality installation that will be on the Santa Monica Pier in November 2016. The interactive display reveals how sea level rise and big storms will affect the Santa Monica shoreline - flooding the beach and infrastructure by the end of the century.
