Climate Science Alliance Staff brought our Climate Kids Carnivores Traveling Trunk activities to Sherman Elementary's Garden Festival on May 25th again this year. Students and families had a blast learning about local carnivore species, the problems they are facing due to climate change and urbanization, and special connectivity planning that is underway in San Diego. Students who participated in hands-on science activities were inspired to tell the story to other students! They encouraged participants to make observations about some of the species important to our local ecosystems and to learn about the "10 Things" they can do to help the Earth by participating in a coloring station.
