Collaboration Advances Climate Resilience in the Cross-Border Region

ABOUT

In this document we expand on the content included in California’s 5th Climate Change Assessment, San Diego Regional Report for the San Diego and Baja California Cross Border Resilience section. As a way to highlight some of the successful cross-border collaborations that have taken place in this region, this document provides examples of successful cross-border collaborations that are current or on-going to provide a point of inspiration and instruction to guide (inspire) future cross-border collaborations. While these stories shared here are hopeful examples of what is possible, there is a need for much more cross-border and plurinational collaboration to occur in order for our region to build resilience to the impacts of climate change. The stories shared here were provided by several of the authors who contributed to the San Diego Regional Report, and we hope they inspire and guide your future climate resiliency efforts.
