The Oceanside Museum of Art recently showcased the Alliance’s "Along the Transect Line" exhibition. This exhibition highlights the wonderful and biodiverse ecosystems found in this region and is on display till August 18, 2019 - check it out today!
On July 13, 2019 the Oceanside Museum of Art held an opening soiree for "Along the Transect Line", alongside exhibit artists Brian Kesinger and Roland Reiss.
"Along the Transect Line", curated by Alliance Deputy Director Alex Warneke and completed in collaboration with biologists from Cabrillo National Monument and Climate Science Alliance Affiliated Artist Audrey Carver, highlights the wonderful and biodiverse ecosystems the park protects. Over the years natural environments have experienced the full spectrum of success and loss. Ecosystems fluctuate like the changing tide - some change of which can be managed for and some which cannot. Now, more than ever our environments are at a critical intersection.
"Along the Transect Line" is a part of the Climate Science Alliance’s Art and Community Initiative and will be exhibited at the Oceanside Museum of Art from until August 18, 2019. For more information, please visit www.oma-online.org
