About
Held on April 20th, 2024, the Pauma Tribal Farms 5K and Gathering provided programming and resources to over 200 local Native American participants and families. The gathering convened around topics of climate change actions, food sovereignty, cultural health traditions and traditional teachings on wellness to advance climate resilience. With the funding provided by the Small Grants Program the planning committee was able to purchase event T-Shirts and banners and provide honoraria for Elders and cultural presenters.
The Climate Science Alliance's Reciprocity and Regranting Program is one of several ways that we fill a unique space that is critical to advancing a just and equitable future in a climate changed world.
