On June 2nd, 2017, Climate Kids-Mexico (CKM) spread a message of environmental stewardship at the Ecoparque Environmental Day Festival in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico by hosting a "Pasarela" Fashion Show with outfits created out of recycled materials. CKM Ambassadors created unique costumes out of cans, plastic bottles, plastic bags, and old clothes to represent the sea, fish, sea birds, and seaweed. Students walked the runway in these thought-provoking costumes to bring awareness to climate change and ocean and marine health. The Alliance is excited by the great work being done by our partners in Baja California!
