Climate Science Alliance Participates in Underwater Parks Day

On Janurary 20th, the Climate Science Alliance brought Climate Kids to Under Water Parks Day at SEALIFE Aquarium in Carlsbad, CA. Underwater Parks Day was an effort by Southern California aquariums to explain the importance of Marine Protected Areas in maintaining the health of coastal ecosystems and species. This event hosted kid-friendly activities, crafts, performances, and hands-on exhibits.

Climate Kids partnered with Mission Bay High School to incorporate climate change messaging into topics of ocean health through art, storytelling, and an interactive plastics demonstration by Climate Kids ambassador Maya Cota. Mission Bay High School ambassadors volunteered to educate visitors on climate change. Check out the photos from this fun event below.
