On March 16, 2018, the Climate Science Alliance partnered with San Diego Coastkeeper to pilot a brand new Climate Kids-SD Coastkeeper hybrid assembly! The joint program provided hands-on science activities about climate change, point source and non-point source pollution, and how we can all make a difference. 134 students at Logan K-6 put on their lab coats and learned the 3 Jobs of a Scientist, participated in experiments and demonstrations and learned how to be a part of the solution!

A very special thank you to our partners at SD Coastkeeper! Together we have piloted a Climate Kids/Climate Stewards Project hybrid into at 5 schools during the 2017-2018 school year as well as integrated climate change messaging into their Water Education for All and Projet SWELL curriculum.

We look forward to our continued partnership and extending the reach of climate literacy beyond what we could do alone!
