On Tuesday 4/17, Mission Bay High School Climate Kids Club Ambassadors led activities at their Earth Day event. Partnering exhibitors joined to provide information about current conservation research in Southern California.

The Climate Science Alliance brought hands-on activities from our Oceans Traveling Trunk, which explores the effect of increased CO2 on ocean habitats. Ambassadors led the activities and invited other students to join the club and network of volunteers. As part of our Climate Kids Ambassador program, these dedicated students go into the classroom and out to community events with our staff and mentor younger kids to help the earth and learn more about climate change! More information on our Ambassador program can be found here.
