Viejas Resource Management Department hosted their first ever Earth Fair on Friday, April 20th and it was a huge success! Around 150 members from the community visited booths which provided information and resources around nature as well as exhibitors selling homemade goods, and a delicious lunch was provided.

Students from nearby youth programs attended and participated in individual table raffles and art activities. Climate Kids activities taught about climate change, pollinators and decomposers and even featured a sewing activity and commitment wall. Alliance partner Alex Tardy, from the National Weather Service joined alongside our Climate Kids table and briefed attendees on current weather and climate information.

A huge thanks to Viejas's environmental team for having us out!

This event was partially funded through the Whale Tail Grant. Thank you!
