Every year, the Alliance team celebrates Earth Day through what we call "Earth Season"—because one day, and even one month, isn't enough time! This year marks our 10th year celebrating Earth Day with you. We were fortunate to spend time in community at 6 Earth Day events across San Diego County to uplift stories of hope, resilience, and our collective impact for good. We invite you to spend 30 seconds with us to enjoy some of our favorite moments.

Thank you to the event hosts and organizers who invited us to participate in your wonderful gatherings:

  • Intertribal Earth Day, hosted by the La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians, Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeño Indians, Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians, Pala Band of Mission Indians, Pechanga Band of Indians, Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians, San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians, and Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians

  • Pauma Tribal Farms 5K, hosted by Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians

  • Campo Band of Mission Indians Environmental Fair

  • Pechanga Band of Indians Earth Day

  • SDG&E Earth Fair

  • Sherman Indian High School’s Earth Day Celebration

Thank you to the California State Coastal Conservancy, the Conrad Prebys Foundation, and Collaborative of Native Nations for Climate Transformation and Stewardship (CNNCTS), whose support made it possible for the Alliance team to join six Earth Day events this year, share resources, and strengthen community connections.
