On September 29, 2023 the Center for Community Energy and Environmental Justice (CCEEJ) hosted a webinar to launch the technical assistance CCEEJ is ready to provide. Over 70 individuals tuned in to learn about CCEEJ’s offerings, including technical assistance on environmental justice assessments, strategic grant planning, increased grant support and administrative capacity. The assistance that CCEEJ is geared up to provide has a particular focus on energy, environmental health and quality, and support for Tribal and Indigenous communities.

The Climate Science Alliance is a partnering organization of CCEEJ—an EPA and DOE-supported Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center—supporting efforts in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. CCEEJ is powered by a network of collaborative institutions and organizations across the region, including the Climate Science Alliance.
