Climate Science Alliance and California Sea Grant Collaborate on Binational Climate Project

Climate Science Alliance and California Sea Grant collaborate on Binational Climate Project funded by the San Diego Foundation’s new Binational Resilience Initiative.

Led by California Sea Grant and the Climate Science Alliance, a new Binational Climate Extension project was created to support the development of a binational coastal research initiative. The initiative’s goal is to increase access to coastal resilience resources that enhance the San Diego - Baja California Norte region's science and prioritize coastal communities' needs. The project will foster new partnerships to expand and leverage regional expertise, and will be led by the new Binational Climate Extension Fellow, Meliza Le Alvarado. Special thanks to the San Diego Foundation for providing funding through their new Binational Resilience Initiative.
