This virtual session explores how Tribal forestry and new technology work together to protect the environment. We will discuss how technology can complement the dialogue between people and forests by exploring how high-resolution data can support those who steward complex forest ecosystems. This presentation introduces the Physio-Spatial Monitoring Program as a way to better understand the health of the land, using regional examples of Tribally-led co-stewardship efforts in southern California.

This Stewardship Pathways training event is hosted by the Climate Science Alliance in partnership with KRS Environmental Consulting and the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians, with support from the National Forest Foundation.

The Climate Science Alliance's Stewardship Pathways program is co-created with partners and reflects a collaborative and cooperative approach to stewardship and conservation. Together we build capacity, support economic and workforce development, and advance co-stewardship of all ancestral lands through various training pathways.
