The Climate Science Alliance team is grateful to the leadership and the team at Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians for hosting our monthly Tribal Working Group meeting.

The Climate Science Alliance team is grateful to the leadership and the team at Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians for hosting our monthly Tribal Working Group meeting this past March at the Oasis Visitor Center located in Joshua Tree National Park. Aside from a very full agenda, we all had a great day in Joshua Tree and enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the native plant nursery, and learning about the work the Tribe and partners at the Native American Land Conservancy are supporting to advance Tribal stewardship of the land and climate adaptation planning and projects.
