Climate Kids Ambassadors Event-Bioblitz at Cabrillo Saturday, May 21, 2016

Our next Climate Kids event will be at Cabrillo National Monument’s Bioblitz on May 21st which will be from 9AM-3PM.

Cabrillo's Bioblitz is a one day event held at Cabrillo National Monument. The event is open to the public and Cabrillo has invited the Climate Science Alliance's Climate Kids program to host a table which will have more information about the program and an activity for other kids to participate in. We will have Climate Kids ambassadors from San Diego and Mexico helping out. They will put on their lab coat and teach other kids about climate change and what they can do to help the earth.

The event has other activities and booths which the children can participate in that day. Cabrillo gives this description of what the day will look like for the families who join; "learn about the unique ecosystems of the Monument, participate in science-based activities, and help park biologists in quantifying the plants and animals that call Cabrillo home."

We would be happy to have your family come to Cabrillo, participate at our table for however long you would like, meet other Climate Kids and be part of the group as we celebrate science and biodiversity! Contact us for more information about Climate Kids Ambassadors.
