Alliance Presents Faces of Change at Balboa Park Sustainability Forum

For the third year in a row, the Climate Science Alliance proudly showcased artwork from our Art + Community program at the Balboa Park Sustainability Forum. Congratulations to all Sustainability Award winners and thank-you to the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership for inviting us to participate in this incredible event.

For the third year in a row, the Climate Science Alliance was proud to showcase artwork from our Art + Community program at the Balboa Park Sustainability Forum. The Sustainability Forum, a program of the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, highlights sustainability efforts in Balboa Park, honors Balboa Park organizations for their exceptional projects in sustainability, celebrate partnerships, and explores sustainability topics relevant to the San Diego community, and Park stakeholders. Attendees to the program viewed Faces of Change the Alliance’s newest installation by Affiliated Artist Audrey Carver translating the findings of the San Diego Ecosystems Report.

Through this year’s theme: People, Planet, [Non]Profit, the Forum explored the non-profit role in environmental responsibility and business resiliency through a special keynote and engaging panel discussion. Ending the event, the 2018 Balboa Park Sustainability Awards were given in recognition of outstanding Balboa Park sustainability projects - congratulations to this year’s winners - the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet and the San Diego Youth Symphony & Conservatory!

Celebrating their tenth year, the award winning Balboa Park Sustainability Program continues to be supported by an alliance of Balboa Park stakeholders, the City of San Diego, San Diego Gas & Electric®, and sustainability experts. Thank you to the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership for inviting us to participate in this incredible event.
