A group of eager and passionate Climate Kids from Pacific Beach Middle School recently volunteered with the Climate Science Alliance to build educational materials to help other students learn about the impacts of climate change. Students worked hard with the Climate Kids team to assemble new traveling trunks for community use.

Climate Kids Traveling Trunks provide resources educators need to teach climate science in the classroom. Each trunk includes background information, lesson plans, powerpoints, activities, and materials to increase climate literacy for K-12th grade youth. Climate Kids trunks feature interactive and hands on science, storytelling and art curriculum aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.

The trunks can be checked out for a period of two weeks at a time and picked up from our partners at the San Diego Natural History Museum's Nature to You Loan Program.

Thank-you to these dedicated students for their assistance and commitment to helping make the earth a better place!
