Climate Science Alliance partner John C. Parada led a presentation on climate change outreach and education at the 2019 EPA Region 9 Tribal Conference. Learn more on today’s blog!

On October 24, 2019, Climate Science Alliance partner John C. Parada with the Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians led a presentation on “Climate Change Outreach and Education” at the 27th Annual Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 Tribal Conference in Arizona on October 24, 2019.

In his presentation, Parada shared how he educates youth on climate change based upon science and factual information. Parada also discussed methods to provide comprehensible information to various age groups and academic levels for effective climate change outreach. Attendees of his presentation received more information on how to acquire training and increase knowledge on climate change outreach and education.
