Climate Science Alliance Spotted at Secret Society

The Climate Science Alliance joined with the NSF Center for Aerosol Impacts on Chemistry of the Environment this January to participate in the San Diego Natural History Museum’s Secret Society of Adultologists.

The Climate Science Alliance was excited to join forces with the NSF Center for Aerosol Impacts on Chemistry of the Environment (CAICE) this January to participate in the San Diego Natural History Museum’s Secret Society of Adultologists.

This 21+ event saw the SDNHM and the Secret Society bust out their new time machine to explore both San Diego’s past and future. At this unique, after-hours adventure, guests traveled back as far as the dinosaurs and forward into a San Diego altered by climate change. Sipping craft cocktails and beer adultologists wandered through the Nat’s two new exhibitions: Living Lab and Insects Face to Face and dressed to represent their favorite moment in time.

The Climate Science Alliance team partnered with our friends at CAICE to explore what climate change means for the future of the planet. With several fun hands-on demonstrations, participants were engaged in understanding the impact of climate on our oceans, our air, and what we can do moving forward to choose a sustainable future.

Thank you to all who came out!
