On April 23rd, the advisor group met to kick-off the extreme drought project, “Ecological Drought in Southern California: Developing a Framework for Drought Preparedness and Proactive Response.”

The project leads of “Ecological Drought in Southern California: Developing a Framework for Drought Preparedness and Proactive Response” were excited to convene the kick-off meeting of the project’s Technical Advisory Group on April 23, 2024. Over the next 18 months, this group will convene several times to provide the insight, expertise, and guidance needed to develop scenarios of extreme drought and extreme precipitation. We thank the advisors for their time and dedication to advancing these important conversations!
