The Climate Science Alliance team was thrilled to welcome our advisory team to our new office, located on Kumeyaay homelands in San Diego, in November for the first in person meeting since the pandemic. The Advisory Team is a small collective of amazing people who bring different backgrounds, expertise, experience, knowledge, and a commitment to the Alliance’s vision and mission. This year we welcomed three new advisors, Nikki Cooley, Melodie Lopez, and Tamara Wall to an already amazing list of climate leaders. The Climate Science Alliance is at a unique point in its growth as an organization and we are looking forward to celebrating our 8-year anniversary in February 2023. We continue to grow and change, and now feels like an important time to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. We have several opportunities that deserve strategic and intentional direction, and we highly value the guidance, participation, and advice provided by our partners and advisors. Our team thinks the world of our advisors and appreciate the guidance and heart they bring to everything they do.

The Climate Science Alliance team acknowledges the Indigenous peoples whose traditional territory we work. We honor the continued presence and resilience of Indigenous communities and nations, and thank those we work with for your friendship and your good will in our efforts to collaborate.
