Climate Science Alliance Presents at ITEP/EPA Climate Change Virtual Course

On March 23rd, Climate Science Alliance team members Althea Walker and Paula Ezcurra gave a presentation entitled, “Cultivating Transformational Climate Adaptation” at the Climate Change 101 virtual workshop: Climate Action and Capacity Building: Tribal Communities – U.S. Mexico Border.



On March 23, 2022 Climate Science Alliance team members Althea Walker and Paula Ezcurra provided a presentation entitled, “Cultivating Transformational Climate Adaptation” at the Climate Change 101 virtual workshop: Climate Action and Capacity Building: Tribal Communities – U.S. Mexico Border held by the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This course was part of ITEP’s Tribes and Climate Change Program (TCCP) and the EPA's Border 2025 Program.



Althea and Paula gave an overview of the Climate Science Alliance Model, with examples of the Model in action through the Climate Kids program, the Baja and Tribal Working Groups, and the Resilient Restoration Project. We thank ITEP and the EPA for inviting us to share our work and vision with their networks!
