Nevada Indigenous Climate Stewardship Lead
The Desert Research Institute’s (DRI) Division of Atmospheric Sciences, the Climate Center Group at DRI, and the Climate Science Alliance are seeking an exceptional and resourceful individual to join our team as the Nevada Indigenous Climate Stewardship Lead.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and has experience in project management, community engagement, and climate adaptation and resilience planning and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working collaboratively with diverse partners to advance projects focused on advancing Indigenous-focused community resilience projects, plans, and activities. This is a new role and we are interested in investing and supporting an individual who wants to develop their professional and leadership skills in support of Indigenous community-based projects. The position is located at DRI’s Reno campus but a hybrid work option may be considered.
