From September 9th through October 14th, 2023, multiple members of the Climate Science Alliance Tribal Working Group participated in the Entrepreneurship and Adversity Community Bootcamp with support from the Collaborative of Native Nations for Climate Transformation and Stewardship (CNNCTS), as part of the Climate Science Alliance’s Stewardship Pathways Program.

The Entrepreneurship and Adversity Community Bootcamp is a six week program consisting of a series of workshops every Saturday focused on growing and developing sustainable business ventures. This partnership between the Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurial Studies, the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University, and the San Diego Chapter of SCORE has successfully graduated two cohorts of entrepreneurs, this being the 3rd cohort of business professionals.

Following the program, attendees are matched with professional mentors to support and advise throughout their journey. As an important tool to support workforce development and entrepreneurial skill building, we were thrilled to have three of our Tribal Working Group members in this year's cohort and look forward to their continued growth!
