Art of Change is back! San Diego Central Library is hosting the Art of Change exhibit July - September. This family-friendly exhibit not only gives visitors a chance to see thought-provoking art inspired by climate change, but it also features a coloring station and scavenger hunt for kids! CSA's Dr. Amber Pairis Serves as a Judge in 2017 Congressional Art Competition
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Students submit entries to their representative’s office, and panels of district artists select the winning entries. Open Call for Youth Environmental and Climate Change Art Submissions
Amplifier and Earth Guardians are holding an open call for youth art to celebrate heroes working to address climate change and environmental protection. In addition to individual artist submissions, they are also looking for 3-5 after school programs interested in using #MyClimateHero as part of their program this month. If you're interested, this would involve dedicating an after school session to helping your students develop a submission for the open call.
